Featured Replies

Hi,

Took delivery of my sprint yellow vrs on Saturday 14th October from Pillings Skoda of Milton Keynes. (Same day Mr collected his roomster). Both cars are so good, when we go out anywhere we have a long discussion 1st as to which car we are going in! & who gets to drive!!

Can't wait to start clocking up some fun miles in my vrs!

Had it for nearly a month...& still smiling every time i drive it!! love it!!

Welcome, I to have a Yellow Furbie vRS which of course is the correct colour for this model[Others may disagree ] . I also like the roomster and have test driven one, Impressed.

hi. and welcome yellow peril. no racing. :D

Welcome to Briskoda

the srint yellow is growing on me... having seen it in the flesh, I may choose it next time! 9though HC says she wont get in the car if I get a yellow one, which isn't ness a bad thing! lol..)

I also like the numberplate for the roomster.

Its definitely an eye catching colour though not to everyone's taste. Extroverts only need apply? Not sure that when the time comes to sell there will be much of a market for it either. On the plus side it must be a doddle to find on the supermarket carpark. They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder but personally I don't think you can beat the black for looks on the Fabia. That said, the spectre of chip, scratch & swirl marks on black (and all other dark paint jobs) means I'll probably end up with the ultra conservative silver when I shortly take the plunge.

Top man  Sprint yellow is the way to go, looks the dogs when clean and doesn't look too bad when filthy like mine either :D Hides the stone chips well and can only appreciate in value  more and more people are coming over to the yellow side eh Sharky ;)

For the sake of your wallet I hope you are right postmanpat. Fashions do change but yellow has a long long way to go based on an article on the AA site (see The AA: Car Buyer's Guide) where it came in 10th place behind mauve in the list of popular colours.

mmm, but also, the cars least likely to be stolen are yellow, I bet postmanpat doesn't get people "fishing" through his letterbox for the keys! ;)

Says it all then really when even thieving, joyriding scum won't nick something in that colour.

Welcome to Briskoda. Love the Yellow,

Looks nice. Welcome.

looked at all the colours...narrowed it down to the silver, red or yellow...but fell for the yellow way over the others (as you might have gathered from the one I ended up with!)

Also glanced at the AA guide...mentions after the listings that bright colours suit sports cars & hot hatches...

personally i love it, but not every-one bound to feel the same way

Welcome to Briskoda, Nice car :)

I've just bought a Race Blue Octavia VRs and I agree the bright colours suit them best, silver is a tad ubiquitous these days. The yellow looks well on the Fabia but bloody awful on the Octavia, I don't know if it made it to the UK but I saw a Mk1 Octy VRs in yellow with colour co-ordinated yellow leather seat sides, whilst in Czech, the bits of random yellow made it look like genocide at an Orville the duck convention!!

:)

Hi I love the colour I have silver but may look at yellow next time I think it's a really bright cheery colour especially in these dull miserable winter days.

Well done to you and welcome I too am a new member.
