Recently the key fobs will not unlock the car. I have tried both and it is the same issue with both of them.

So instead I have to unlock with the key for entrance which isn't to much of a problem although the following items do not work when doing so.

These are:

All Electric windows

When I have the lights on and switch her off and go to exit the buzzer doesn't go to tell me they are still on.

Now I am grouping all these together as they happened at the same time although is it strange for them all to be related, same fuse etc?

Has anyone had this and know what the fix is? Cost etc.

I suspect it is a problem with the door lock unit.

To diagnose this you will need to find someone with VAG-COM software on their laptop or consult your dealer. By doing this you will be able to read a "fault code" that can be translated into the actualy fault.

One thing to consider is that door lock faults can result in you being locked in the car - so probably worth getting it looked at.
