I wonder what the part numbers are for the badges.

I haven't seen anything about this before. I assume its a way of extending the life of the Octy 1 1.8T in certain countries  I reckon it would sell quite well in the UK if they did give it as an option - i.e. soft remapped RS with a warranty - but they won't do it as it would take sales off newer models.

I would guess this version uses the same ecu spec as the Audi a4/a6 as they had 190hp spec, just a pitty these weren't sold while on sale in the UK

I'm sure we've had this posted up before, maybe I am just going a bit loopy. :D

nope.

pearoast.

not sure if it is.

the audi version does have twin intercoolers too so not quite the same as the octy

I will say that the biguest mistake Skoda do was calling the new (Octavia II) car Octavia too!

I really dont undertand why they dont put initially a new name to the Octavia II? This way they will keep selling the old Octavia as a regular model...........What a shame.........The Octavia I still have a good line and looks very good.

Its look like Skoda undertand now his big mistake and they are trying to relaunch the old Octavia just putting a powerfull engine...............

I really dont know who will want to buy a old model just because it have a more powerfull/bigguer engine:rolleyes:

Isaac

It doesn't have a bigger engine though?
