I like

Built in spell check prevents ebabrrasing mistakes

I hate the way that each tab has it's own close button.. I was even looking at the prospect of creating my own extension or modding my install to make a close active tab button back where it used to be.

is this a Beta Version ?

might give it a blast later. Ive been trying IE7 since it was released, but still prefering Firefox, I like the screen size change function in IE7 though.

I found an extension that does that.. if you mean to set 640x480/1024x768 etc for web developing?

I mean the ctrl and scroll function. the one in firefox only downsizes the fonts, but keeps the screen layout as IE& downsizes everything.

I tried FF2 beta and it wouldn't browse the net at all.

Kind of a big problem so I went back to the current version

Can you run Firefox 2 alongside Firefox 1.5.0.7?

Nope , it does an upgrade , but it's easy to roll it back

Woohoo i found a close button extension that i can put roughly where it used to be.. I'm now a happy bunny. Also hadn't noticed the spell check but I've installed a dictionary so we'll see how it goes this post should be flawless.

does it still close the tabs by moving the mouse over them and clicking the middle button? I like that feature.

Yes.. but I have an EZ-Nav extension installed which adds function to middle click button but assuming it's not related to that it it is still a feature..

Thats quite a nice feature (new to me) which I wish I knew when i only had 1.5

Been playing this FF2.0 today on my iBook and my work XP machine..

So far so good... the close button on each tab is the same as Safari so I'm used to that anyway. The spell checking is really handy as I've really gotten used to OSX spell checking everything as I type no matter what program I'm using :)

Can't draw any comparisons with IE7 as I've not even bothered with it and have no plans to really :D
