Any one have good information on enging swaps for felicia's preferably some turbo lump fairly new.

thanks to any replies

I believe you can get an adapter for a 1.8t engine to fit the felicia box in cz. Wouldnt fancy it much myself though.

The 1.3 engine is very tuneable and near enough bulletproof. Remember Skoda won the world F2 championship against all the 2l kit cars with their little 1300 engine breathing through carbs in 94. The same engine also led them to a european circuit racing championship victory in the early 80s - against the likes of v12 jags etc. In both championships as well as the victorys they had top 3 placeings for about 4 years!

The cars handle best with the 1300 engines as they are far lighter weight than most steel blocked engines - not only are they aluminium they are also wet linered, which means even less metal there :D. Parts are available from CZ like forged cranks etc you can get the engine taken out to 1500cc and get over 150hp from them (150hp from a competition engine feels substantially better and goes better than 150hp from a production engine :) ).

you can fit the felicia diesel gearbox on the 1.8t engine with a little bit of fiddling....

but another vote from me for doing up the original engine, but i would start off with the 1600cc vw engine
