Drives very nicely and is a lot quicker than my Fabia :(

It's the revised 225 Cup with the optional Recaro seats and paint colour. He's already played around with some LED lights for the interior. They have now discountinued doing the recaro seat option in all but the new R26 (not yet released) and they are trimmed differently anyway. My brother is one of only 4 owners in the UK with this spec, which is nice :D

bbttt

Nice :D How much is the Megane 225 there?

Looks like a nice motor.

Those LEDs suit it well too - nice and subtle!

I don't like the shape of them at the back but the front looks pretty nice. Like the seats. Is it as quick as a 2.0 Fabia? :D

I like the Meganes butt! I quite like the Cup versions , wouldnt mind one of those F1 World Champ editions if I had the money!

It handles absolutely brilliantly, but did get shown up on a corner by a VX220. As soon as it got on the straight though 60+ his 225 closed in easily. Cost, I think he got his from buymynewcar.co.uk for £13,995 and the seats were an £850.00 option along with the paint it cost approx 15,000 I think.

It's not subtle in anyway but thats whats so good about it. It outhandles most in it's class, is very very quick - has a nice online community and is easily tunable. I believe RS Tuning do a 300 bhp package for £1000.00 which includes larger FMIC, turbo back Blueflame exhaust, induction kit including relocation to lower grill and the remap & the obligitory DV :D

Looks good - I do like the fact they're a bit different from the norm. And yes, they're decently quick :)

Where's he fitted the LEDs? Just replaced the standard bulbs?

yea he just got some LEDS in place of the standard bulbs from shinyautos

I find that a little hard to believe as the Megane has only 5 more horses and blatantly weighs more the the vx220..

Butt ugly from the rear. Not my cup of tea, but I bet it's nice to drive.

Just coz its a vx220 doesnt mean its got 220bhp...

its 150 for the 2.2 and 198 for the 2.0turbo

ooooooo thanks form clearing that up.

There's 3 Renault 225 Cups in this blue where i work. Quite nice..

There are 4 in the car park where I work, don't like any of them. They just look carp.

My mate has one, I used to think they were ugly too, but I quite like it now, with all its gadgetery and push button start lol! Pretty quick too cos it's been mapped etc....

still an FPOS though! ;)

They just look carp.

Is that because they look "COMMON" or not good in a "MIRROR" image, they are certainly not "WILD"....................................:P

it's a fair bit funkier than my vRS but not quite as economic :)

Yep, it does like a drink! My mate's one (some may have seen it at Awesome on Sat) gets about 22-26 round town

Steve

gets about 22-26 round town

Considering its performance, that isn't too bad at all :D

Chris

It is when you're not using much, if any, of the performance in town ;)
