Found out that on my brothers Meg 225 you can turn a valve which makes the turbo more audiable Can this be done on the vRS & if so where's the valve?

I'm not sure but I think someone's turned mine all the way up already

Just put your window down and make a loud 'whooshing' noise and if you want extra boy racer points you could make a 'pssssst' sound too when you lift off!

I have already got my horn making a nice sound & cut my springs to lower it. I thought that my car would sound better with it's peco back box but it just doesn't sound right :(. Even after I fitted my k&n induction kit & lexus lights you just can't hear the turbo whine. Prehaps I need a Dump Valve instead :confused:

last night i raced a 1.2 corsa and i hand brake turned round a 90 degree angle then left him for dead. he said my peco back box sounded awesome but i couldn't hear the turbo whistle. he said my car looked awesome with the springs cut 60mm.

im wanting to get some ice in my car next to make it louder too so that all the mcdonalds lot can see me pimpin' in my ride.

what do you all think? how do i raise the volume on the turbo? is there a button in the car i can press to make it whooosh :confused:

Its in the same place as the switch that controls the wife's volume

I'm wanting a wrc spoiler too, although I think that might be a little bit too small, prehaps something bigger :confused:.

how about a cossie whale tail, that would look sorted, the angles would be a little out but i think you could get away with it

and don't forget the blue LED's in the washer jets and under car neons!

Get the WRC spoiler, but then fit a Mondeo estate rear spoiler on top of it.

Where did turning up the volume on a turbo actually come from in the first place? I initially thought you were on about increasing boost from the topic title, then I went "huh?", realised what was going on, but I'm just intrigued as to where the original comment came from?

Joking aside, there are some retro-fit items you can fit inline with the exhaust that basically open/close the exhaust a little to get more/less noise

You can in all honesty turn up the volume on the turbo actuator on my brothers Meg 225 :P

Played around with it last night on his Meg, doesn't make a massive difference tbh, just makes it "whistle" more audiably.
