I just found this thread and I'd be interested in this going - sounds like it would be a trip to remember.

I can't go in May, but September should be OK. I could take my car, but would probably prefer to go with someone else. I'm not sure how that would work/get organised, but I don't really fancy going alone, and I don't think I'll be able to persuade anyone else to go - but I'll try.

It was only about £30 to go over on norfolkline when we went, and although its a 2 hour long ferry journey, it does get you a fair bit nearer to CZ up the French coast.

95% sure it will be over the weekend of the 15th/16th September, leaving on the Tuesday or Wednesday and returning on the following Monday.

Definitely up for making it a longer trip. I may well go out a couple of days before with a couple of mates.

Well, I did 2300 odd miles. Was basically about 5.5 tanks of diesel, £30 ferry, £150 for accommodation (assuming 6 days this time, not 3 like last time) and then just bits for fun. I would estimate it would cost about £500 for a car and 2 people to get there and back, and have a real good time whilst there too.

Hoping we get another walk around a different bit of the Skoda factory too.

I also think it is worth holding off until we know the dates of the Sept Skoda show. It's still 7 months away.

As Jason said see if we can wait for firm dates for dorsky.

6 day trip would be good.
