Does anyone have a defo date or an idea of cost? I'm interested in this but would need to know well in advance.

Dates would be around Mid September 07, although depends ultimately on the timing of the CZ national skoda meet that we went to last time.

Rough cost? Well, for me, I spent approx £300 on the whole 4 days. Most was on diesel and the ferry/accommodation - the rest on a bit of food and booze. I hope this trip will be more like a whole week - I want at least 4 clear days in CZ this time around. Might end up spending more money, but I shgould be sharing the fuel bill at least this time around.

Sounds good - I think I could probably do with a passenger though! Fuel bill on my tod would be quite high. I'll keep my eyes peeled on this one!

The best guess I can give everyone at the moment is the trip will be over the weekend of the 15/16th September, probably going out on the Wednesday before and returning on the following Monday i.e. a five day trip.

No offence intended Steve as you did a sterling job last time, but I think I'll be going solo this time around and probably the day before. My mate wishes to come along, and hopes to purchase a Skoda Felicia and treat it a little like one of those banger runs where you get a car for £100 and drive across Europe. I have a suspicion it may not make it back from the Mimon airfield if you get my drift should make good entertainment.

Like I say J, at the moment it's only a guestimate as to when we go. It is afterall still December 2006, we did'nt get last years one off the ground until late June so there is plenty of time to finalise everything.

The 'Felicia' thing sounds interesting though

Well, I only hope that the felicia stays there and we all come back in the mongrel, and not the other way around. I should think I'll be loaded up with rescue tools for the trip as well. I kind of have this vision of me towing a felicia back to the UK on a solid tow hitch/bar. (and again, hopefully not the other way around.....)
