Russian online ETKA

Featured Replies

Are we aware of its existence? Stumbled on it during a bit of Superb 1.8T research...

http://www.elcats.ru/audivw/

Yes, it's in Russian but you will soon find the English translations. Yes, it's only VW and Audi, but all Skodas are either Polos or A2s, Golfs or A3s, or A4/A6s or Passats.

For instance, all the Octavia 1.8T's engine parts (for AUM, AUQ and ARX) can be found under Audi A3.

So:

1. Pick a make and year.

2. Pick a model.

3. Click on one of the Russian categories.

4. You will see the items appear with an English translation in the third column. (Not all items have translations.)

5. Click on an item and a drawing appears.

6. Click on the yellow button and the English part names will appear!

7. Click on the part name and you will see their dollar price in a Russian webshop.

In all, very useful...

The site has been in our web links for most of the past year, Mattijs. See Mechanical Reference & DIY Information - VW/Audi Parts Catalogue Online. But it is helpful for members to be reminded of the availability of such information online, and perhaps this thread will encourage members to have a browse around our links section where they will find hundreds of useful links.

It might well have been but no harm in a reminder. I think you, Denis, are the only person who knows what's in the Links section - probably because you put them there.
