I shall be there, at some of the stages on the Saturday.

Going in my Fab vRS and its sister car an Ibiza FR (which belongs to my girlfriends brother).

Went a few years back and saw a lot of the action. We did the special stage on the first night (in the stadium) and then picked every 3rd stage to go to to let us see the majority of the cars through before moving on :D Did mean some very early starts but well worth it

I'll see if I can dig out the old programme so I can see which stages we went to - unfortunately it's now pretty well policed about where you can stand....

Chris

Shadow of it's former self, and the championship is now over after today's result.

Bloody D. Richards rip off now.

Don't waste your money,...imo...stay at home and watch the highlights on Sunday if you can keep awake.

If you really must go, watch out for the plod and their speed traps. They usually make a VERY BIG killing during this event.

I'll be at main service on saturday, and then on to trawscoed on sunday

I will be marshalling at Rehola on friday, Halfway on saturday, and Trawescoed on sunday!!

Taking the vRS on the stages too, should be fun :D :D (but COLD!!!!)

Im at Trawescoed on sunday, not sure about taking the vrs or not??? May be a wales rally mini meet???

Might catch some testing at Tyle on Monday, but Ill be on Rheloa on Friday. Found a nice spot away from the crowds too

This is the first time in 8 years I won't be going.

Over recent years the rallying has become more and more 'removed' from the spectators. You used to be able to get a good spot watch the cars through, blast to the next stage in a convoy and do the same again. You could easily get 4 or 5 stages in in 1 day and maybe 12+ over the weekend. Now you can only get 2 a day, and they're in the same location plus you can only stand way away from the stages. Added to that the depleted field of big name entrants and I'm not sorry I won't be there.

Apologies if I've put a dampner on your weekend, I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Maybe I'm just getting old and grumpy.....eee I remember when......................

Not going this year, WRC ain't what it used to be thanks to FIA/Dave Richards as posted before.

4 Fabia WRCs:

2x Red Bull Skoda (Rovanpera and Aigner)

1x First Motorsport Skoda (Duval)

1x CRT Skoda-Kopecky (Jan Kopecky)

Under NO circumstances will I go to watch the "Wales Rally of South Wales"!

A Selection of photos from the Friday on Rheola and the evening at service. Btw all I paid all day was

How bizarre  I was just about to start a thread asking for best rally pics that I could send to my work email to set up as a screen saver thingy. Had a look on google and a lot of them are weeny.

Cheers Decron. Can I ask why Skoda seem to be running an Octy service barge in these days of restricted servicing?

Weren't there three skodas in the top ten yesterday?

Yes. Unfortunately in 8th to 10th overall. :(

Can someone explain that there are more than 6 or 8 cars in a rally to whoever edits the ITV footage please?
