Auto Express - Fabia II pics etc

Featured Replies

Anyone seen this article? Happened to pick up Auto Express last night, and had a nice surprise when I started flicking through.

Good News: Fabia II vRS with turbodiesel engine.

Bad News: Fabia II vRS with 'sporty bodykit'. :( I quite liked the almost Q car look of the current version.

Fabia II will also get a TSI engine (turbocharger and supercharger equipped jobbie).

It looks like a fiat or toyota corrola.

Haven't seen the piccies but I belive from the front seats, forward in a Roomster is what the New Fabia will look like......:)

Had a quick look the other day.

Will be a hit with the OAP's

The sporty body kit thing is just something Auto Express will have made up to fill column inches. I'd expect it to be along the same lines as the current Fabia vRS with the deeper bumpers e.t.c. but nothing to Halfords.

:iagree:

I can't imagine it being too brash tbh.

Will have to have a look at one of those at some point, but tbh I reckon the Mk1 will be kept for quite some time (if nothing else, just to get it paid off  )

That's a relief then. The current Fabia vRS is quite understated, and therefore a bit of a Q car IMHO.

All the Best

Any pics on the net?

I googled for "Fabia mkII" and the first result is from briskoda..

So would it be naughty to scan the pictures and post them up?:D

Found this by googling "new skoda fabia"

take away the front lights and it reminds me of the Suzuki Swift

hmmmmm

Maybe take a picture of your desk, which just so happens to have a copy of autoexpress lying on it! ;)

I think the Roomster Scout (in black) on the same page looks a lot better than the normal roomster.

Found this on another site..

right from the front it's kinda ok....but towards the back....no....just no!

Have skoda employed a blind car designer??? Lately their cars have been oddball and very weird! mk 1 octy and fabbie are nice looking cars, mk octy also good loooking & photogentic, but suddenly it's like they're designing on another planet? I think they should hurry up and employ leon asap!!

I like it BUT next time around I'll probably be getting an Octavia vRS II in a couple of years. It will have to be good for me to consider it. Youre right about the rear. Its awful. It looks like they ran out of ideas

It does still have tape over the rear lights and rear windows to mask some of the styling cues and, indeed, make it look a little like the Suzuki as already suggested.

Screen looks a little deep; grill and shapes that flow into it (bonnet) very reminiscent of recent Audi shapes.

Is that really it.....a Roomster that doesnt ask if its **** looks big in this.

Thats horrid
