miltek exhaust for the fab. vrs

Featured Replies

i've been on to miltek for an exhaust for the fabia vrs, at the moment they don't do one. if a few of us keep asking they might sort one out.

Basically they need 10 firm orders before they will develop one... altho i presume that the system would also fit the Ibiza TDi and the pending Polo GTTDI. :)

If we can get 10 orders I can organise it through work as we are a Milltek outlet/supplier.

They would also consider doing a decat pipe.

i would be very interested in one, i'd be looking for a full system from turbo back with decat.

Perhaps it is time to see how many peeps would be interested. I'm certainly interested and I know a few on the Midlands meet today were too!

What could you expect from the Miltek performance wise? and how much would you be looking at fitted?

D

I've spoke to Milltek and we have sourced a car hopefully to help move this along, no minimum orders needed here guys as I know there's plenty of you that'll go for it ;)

Fitting would be about an hour (

I'll be interested in one later this year

Out of interest. How long does the development work usually take on a exhaust system?

I hope its not a case of just making a replica and guessing the size of pipe to use.

A little too Max Power imho, Q ;)

Nearly went for one of those on my old 16v! Instead, I went for the hooge 6x4 upswept single, like the below pic. Wouldn't suit the vRS though due to the single, contoured exhaust cut-out in the bumper.

Going to be in contact with Milltek tomorrow and my car may be going to a fit with a view to producing a exhaust and decat for the Fabia vRS.

All depends on us or AwesomeAPR providing one, but looks like they will have a few to choose from, either way we should have something available soon.

Any thoughts on tailpipe?

I was thinking oval as per std as that seems to suit the rear bumper cutout.

I think stick with the oval, but maybe get rid of the 2 peashooter holes from inside it!

same here Ross, oval. do you think they will go for the full de-cat version?

I'd be up for an oval that nicely hugs the cutout on the bumper :)

The Leon R type Trim would be ideal... as would a twin a-la 20vt miltek items :)

Well my car is all booked in on the 24th Feb for a decat and Milltek system with an oval tailpipe.

Be three days up there while they make it and then back to us and on the rollers :)

Cant wait

Your not the only one who can't wait! :D

Keep us updated on the progress mate.

Will do :)

Any idea on what it will look like from the rear ?

Any photoshoppers out there willing to make a guess? :)

Hopefully it wont look to different from standard.

Could go for a 4x3 oval which should be about right I think.

Heres one on a mates Zafira they did last week
