17" Octavia RS alloys fit the Fabia fine with 40 profile tyres

The Fabia RS I test drove at Wings in Peterborough had a set fitted - they look very nice

Thats the yellow one featured in a recent copy of Dieselcar mag... looked very good with the vRS 17" and tints... Superchipped too IIRC.

No it wasn't me. The car has nearly 29K miles on it now, so its due for a service. The funny thing is that it was last done at 19900 so if they reset the computer it should be due at 29,900 (like stamped on the sticker on the window) but the countdown on the dash (which comes on when you start it) is saying theres only a couple of hundred miles to service which means by the countdown it will be due at 29,000 miles, which is 900 miles less than what it should be, what would cause that if I'm on fixed interval.

I want to find out if the fault code I had since I bought the car is still on it

http://www.briskoda.net/forums/showthread.php?t=2837&highlight=FAULT+CODE . I want to get it fixed this time, the dealer has not resolved the issue for me, he just keeps re-setting it.

Yep its superchipped too - thats the car I test drove that convinced me to get a Fabia vRS

Hi Gaff, i wouldnt worry what the indicator says to be honest, its a little premature on all VAG cars and is probaly set a little early to give peeps time to organise a service, most busy dealers may need 2 weeks notice which for some could be 8-900 miles... if ya get my drift

as for the fault code, they should really resolve it especailly as it keeps returning, are you still under warranty? if the dealer cant fix it may be worth going to an an independent, the one I'd go to is martin in westward engineering (enfield) hes well up on the VAG 1.8-20v turbo donkey...

have you asked on vage.ie about the code? soem have acces to Vag-com so could diagnose the code, they are some excellent techie guys there, VST etc...

Cheers

In Ireland the vRS comes with 16" alloys, identical to 17" otherwise. I replaced one recently & it cost
