Just planning ahead for next summer - Does anyone know if Skoda make one of those rear window mesh rollerblind type sunshades? I keep getting people staring at me from behind (must have something to do with a combination of reckless driving and use of "diesel smokage". )

I know what you mean though, everyone over there has their "TOYOTA" or "Nissan" logoed mesh screen. I think it looks :pants: and pathetic. But it would be cool if you could get a flying arrow one

I was under the impression the law only relates to that of the the front and front side windows..? If that's the case, just paint your rear window with black emulsion!

It's not listed as a U.K. accessory any more, but part number FB40151 is shown on the old Skoda partner site (Picture bank - List of the group Fabia= ) - log in as anonymous if necessary.

Xav, shame on you mate, to think that I'd put any logo'ed rear screen - it DOES look pants!:thumbdwn: As if I would. Any logo just doesn't look right - has to be subtle....

I want a plain-Jane mesh one to protect from the Summer heat and to foil people intent on giving me a dirty look! (no pun intended...)

Bas - looking at the website again that part number may be the number of the picture of the blind, not the blind itself. You may have to print out the picture to prove that the blind exists.

D'oh! I give up. There was a thread about a company producing custom sun screens, blocker things. Must be from late 2005 but can I find it! :(

Correction: the part number is DEA 410 001, and the description is 'roller sunblind' .

I used to have one on my car when i got it Basil, i think that the previous owner got it from the dealer in Dubai, you can order one from here if you couldnt get it from bahrain.. I removed it because it was very dirrty which made it really annoyin....

Erm, you can get any tint you want on the rear window :S
