Just got the black 56 Furby VRS a couple of weeks ago. Fanastic car am still trying to find the middle ground with speed. It's a pleasure to drive to work and around Chelt and Glouc.

The B roads you know, are just to tempting to go too fast.

As with alot of Furby VRs's it does have the stuttering problem and I've had the exhaust emissions light on constantly for over a week. Mustn't grumble!

What a superb website.

Hello and welcome.

The emmisions light may be related to the EGR/BLT Engine problem. I would contact your dealer.

It's going in on Thursday all day to be looked at. It seems to be driving ok!

Is this engine problem anything to worry about?

could they have fitted the wrong gasket modification? Not bothered about the stutter myself as on mine it ain't too noticable, given that Skoda are the only VAG company to try to even rectify it I am presuming that it causes no harm. Would avoid going too fast on B roads untill you get at least an ARB but private 3 lane roads are fair game :D

Not sure what this ARB means being a newbie?

ARB - anti roll bar, they are talking about the rear one. I ain't got the uprated one they are talking about but supposedly (many have been fitted) it transforms the handling and roadholding. I believe Jabbasports do them (
