My first car a 9 year old Mk3 Ford Escort fllor pan rotted away and one day when I was going over a spped ramp the floor fell out!

The floor on my first Beetle was so rotten the battery fell out. Plus there was a large whole under the near side front wing that went straight through to the heating channels so if you went through a large puddle the passenger had to lift their feet up or else the water gushed over their shoes. For passenger read 'girlfriend'. Not impressed.

Good old days eh?
