Alloy Photoshop Please

Featured Replies

I'm currently considering some new alloys for my Octy II Elegance.

Can someone please photoshop the attached alloy pic onto my car.

Cheers

Andy

P.S. Existing alloys are 15". New ones will be 17"

Thanks Snoopie.

Comments anyone? Do they suit it?

Look good Andy

I like them - looks really good.

I'd like to see RS6 Alloys on your car!

Thanks Snoopie.

I like 'em...... I say Go for it.

Cheers

Dave.

They are nice but seriously consider getting 18" alloys as 17's look way too small on the Octy.

I know the link I'm about to give you is of the VW Golf Mk5, but there are some nice examples of what is available to us Octy owners as they use the same offset, pcd etc as the OctyII.

Cheers mate - some very nice ones on there (and some not so nice).

I have been looking round at VW Audi stuff as well. Quite like these which I think are original Golf GTI wheels....

What is your opinion on 17's if the car was lowered a bit? Im going to be doing quite high mileage so ongoing tyre cost is something I need to think about too. Guess tyres for 17s would be cheaper, as well as lower wheel price, which would help cover the cost of lowering it.

If you are going to the expense of buying new wheels for your car then the minimum size you should be looking at is 18's, you are just going to have to trust me on this, 17's are just too small even if it were lowered.

As for tyre costs, 18's are obvoiusly a little more expensive but not enough to bear any influence on your decision.

I agree, go for the 18" wheels. The octy2 looks so much better with that size, almost like thats the size that should be on the car.

I was looking at RS6 18" replicas, with budget tyres you can get a set for £495. In the end I decided that the stock look was best so just got new tyres.

How about the new-style RS4 alloys... rekon they would look AWESOME!...

funnily enough Awesome GTI have a set in their showroom waiting to be bought... ;)
