The edition 30 has been out in Germany for a year already, as The Original GTi went on sale over there a year before it came here. Those black rims are for the German Market only I suspect.

Prefer the look of the normal GTi. Don't like the wheels at all, remind of the old BBS rims that always looked over fussy, over designed and made the wheels look too small. Always reminded me of the nasty Halfords stuff. And really, could you be bothered to clean them?

As only 1500 are going to be made/distributed in the UK would it help resale? might recoup some of the 2k?

and also is it a simple remap or have the done other things, not saying it is in this case but its not always just a simple map tweak!

just as the new S3 with 265bhp internals, turbo etc are different.

It has upgraded internals etc. and possibly a bigger turbo.
