Cause it dont get driven much. I cycle to work (havnt driven to work in over two years and still fat lol)

But the wife has been using this last month while im rebuilding her engine in her tin can!

We just bought a VRS last weekend, live in Sudbury - there is an RS meet the first Tuesday of the month at the Rovers Tye, we probably taking the Skoda next time so gatecrash their meet!

Yep is the Ford RS meet, but we take whatever car have at the time, sure be cool to have a few VRS's to gatecrash, or even if enough people have our very own Skoda meet :eek:

Hello,i would also be up for a meet.

I haven't got a vrs but a slightly modified 1.8t elegance and i'm only 10 miles from colchester.

maybe a Swich meet should be on the cards?????

How about somewhere near Bury St Eds? - within an hour's drive of Colchester, Cambridge, Ipswich and Norwich, so potential for a good turn out.

There's a pub on the A134 at Sicklesmere south of Bury called the Rushbrooke Arms with a big car park and good reasonably priced food.

Yes great idea i know it well,is only 40 mins for me.

What do you think give it a few days and see how much interest there is and go from there.

I used to have a scooby and went to the meets which was 1 Sat every month.

It was to meet up have a chat about mods styling and socialise....but was no silly driving!!!

Would anyone been interested in doing the same???

I propose the last Sat of every month meeting at Lakeside retail park by maplins???

Yes, a poll looks like a good idea - there must be some instructions for how to set one up on here somewhere - I'll be off searching in a minute.

Although with due respect to p-mwrx, Lakeside is about as uncentral as you can get in the East of England.
