Spotted these where I was working yesterday , so I thought I'd take a couple of pics.

A "normal" F360 that had rolled as well.

Not sure what this one was , or what it had hit

And this one had been heavily rear ended.

Oh , and a ZX10R that looked like it had gone airborne into a tree.

Oh dear me:eek:

Indeed.

To roll something that low you must be travelling at a decent rate :P

The biker was obviously trying hard mate lol wink

the one you can't identify is a F355 Spider.

Those sort of things break my heart.

Oh, I wonder if certain members will be along to start slateing the handeling and general performance of Ferarris - due to the fact that 2 have obviously been rolled?

Doubt that biker made it off the bike alive :(

I doubt he was still on it when it hit.

If you crash at that speed it's best to be separate

The wife hired me a F355 spider for the day for my 30th. Chap that delivered explained that they can be quite twitchy in the wet. You feel it go and the next thing you know you're going @rse first through a hedge/into a tree/bridge.

He was saying that's why so many of the damaged Fez's you see have rear end damage.

That little chat, the weather being quite un-italian (read: persisting it down) and the revelation that there was a £2.5k insurance excess tamed my right foot somewhat.

Gorgrous cars though, fantastic sound.

no it isn't, the red one with the knackered side is an F355

the blue one is an F430 spyder :)

HTH

Makes me want to cry.

They will all be back on the road though in next to no time. Some Ch@v with a car yard will pick them up. You can always tell the ones, they have a good selection of Ford Granada's, and Vauxhal Caverliers for under £20, and bang in the middle there's a Ferrari (Managers Specail).

Yeh Right

wonder how much the repair bill would be

on 2nd thoughts, I see an engine transplant coming on :D

Blue one?

threads like this make me cry deep inside :(

It's so sad to see beautiful cars in such a state. On a similar note, this was in the paper this morning:

Oh brother! Beauty queen finds Maserati a mess

NZPA | Friday, 19 January 2007

A former New Zealand beauty queen looking after her brother's $NZ126,000 Maserati while he is on holiday says she is still trying to decide when to tell him it has been picked up and dropped on its roof.

Rachel Huljich – a Miss New Zealand who once defied Prime Minister Helen Clark – had parked her brother Jason's 1999 3200 GT Maserati in an exclusive street in Sydney's Elizabeth Bay, the Syney Morning Herald reported.

Her brother is on holiday in South America.

"I haven't decided whether I'll tell him now or when he comes back," Ms Huljich told the newspaper.

A building worker from a construction company tried to move the car by hoisting it into the air with a forklift, but dropped it on the roadway.

Said eyewitness Brad Harrison :

"He picked up the car with his forklift, and. . . suddenly the car rolled over and fell on its roof. It was a large crunch".

Ther car sustained a smashed roof and windows.

Resident Stephen Gray said workers had been moving cars in the street with forklifts while working on a four-storey building.

"They've been doing it for months now," he said. "It's outrageous and just really arrogant."

Police inspector Peter Brooks said: "Only council and the police have the right to move cars from a street," he said.

the red soft top is a 355 spyder (as gwilo pointed out) and the blue hard top is a regular 360 (as stated by the op)

Thats more like it! I thought the blue/ silver one was a 360 Modena, but it's all automotive porn either way.

you're right. it's a 360 and that's what i meant to say - bengie calling it 430 got me confused :o

Theres two ways to repair a Ferrari.. they are very strict about it..

The only place to get original body panels is from ferrari themselfs, and they will not release parts without knowing the full details of the car.. which then gets recorded on the ferrari-accident damage register..

A friend of a friend put his 355 into armco backwards on a trackday, and had a similar dilemma.. get it repaired out of sight from ferrari and risk a botch job.. or get it done officially and have it recorded on the register (that would ovbiously affect the resale value)
