Yes, they are also 5x100.

I have a set getting refurbed, pick them up on Sat and hopefully fit them this coming weekend to my Octy.

Can someone tell me the biggest rim/tyre combo you can fit under the arch without making any mods? Currently running an Octy Mk1 VRS, all standard.

I know some of the Audi/VW/Seat wheels will fit, is this the same for all wheels or just some?

I quite fancy the Golf R32 rims if I can get hold of them or alternatively Audi RS4 rims...

As the starter of this thread it seems ironic that I chose to stick with the original factory wheels after all - they are the best looking in my opinion.... pics of mine can be seen somewhere on ebay

They look really nice and suit the car. There is something about them tho that seem like they are too small for the car. Just my tuppence, if your happy with them then i'm happy for you. Might just be the picture?

The darker wheels really suit the yellow. They look very good.

Save up the entry fees mate and put it towards a decent camera.

I really like the look of Bengies car, the very sleeper look, with just a hit of modding with the red calipers, Looks fantastic! The wheels looks good too, nice balance of smart looking wheels without going over the top. One of my favourite looking cars on here.

Hi Matt, sorry for latency in reply - I don't always get the chance to frequent the tinterweb.

Anyhoo - straight swap - yes they're 17" - but 7.5" wide. My 'Hankooks' fit these better for some reason maybe as my stocks were 7" wide (correct me if I'm wrong).

I parked next to my dream car - a new RS4 y/day (if only I had the cash). Taking the opp to compare my new purchases; My wheels are slightly more silver than the pucka ones but when their spinning you cant tell the difference - and they were 1/3 of the price at least.

I also passed the new Q7 that had the same style on but I wonder if they're bigger - that would look funny - 22" on an octy

I must say if I knew what the 17" would look like on - and had the extra cash, I'd have got 18's. But for now I'm more than happy.

Any have similar views ?
