Sorry if this is in the wrong place :)

Saw that and it is a crashed Octy II VRS TDI.

Guessing some parts out of there might be useful to people wanting to make the Elegance etc look like a VRS.

It can't be a TDI because the brake thingamys are green and not red.

It is a TDI. :) The green/red thing was all mix & match and not all that specific. Skospares would know if they had a petrol on their hands - quite a knowledgable bunch of guys, if a little expensive for some bits.

The change of caliper colour was a 2007 model revision and nothing to do with engine spec.

In the write up in auto expess comparing it to the mondeo, they said all vRS had red brake things.

I have a feeling my old MK I will probably appear there too at some point :(

Either way I do hope it wasn't anyone on here too.

NO!

I expected a finger at the very least then Jason :P

All TDi vRS are 2007 models and as such will have red calipers.

The VRS TDI Estate that i took for a test drive at my local dealers had green calipers

Jason won't give you the finger as he would have considered it first :P ;)

I won't though, I'm gonna be good :orb_angel

Looking at the damage, the brakes can't be that good :P:rofl:

When did the TDI VRS come out? Thats an 06 plate (March - August), but according to parkers, the TDI didnt start production till the 18th September 06....

There were a few on 06 plates, mostly dealer demo cars.

Na all good, apparently, although I'm not so tempted now I have a price.

Mmm, what bit's would I need to make my 140bhp the same spec as the 170bhp then?
