However I believe that some taxi.....sorry , TDI vRS cars were built in the 06 model year and therefore the caliper colours could never give a reliable answer to the petrol/taxi question.

I was serious when I said a relatives multi function wheel operates the cruise? Turn the cruise on and set it, then adjust the speed using one of the sets of up and down arrows to adjust the speed up or down?

As for the TDI VRS estate, I have no idea, I didn't drive it I just saw it in the show room when the TDI VRS first came out. I saw the derv under the bonnet though.

Another dealer had a VRS TDI on demo with an 06 plate too.
