Has anyone got any recommendations for a dog guard for the Octy hatch.

Taking the dog on holiday with us in the vRS and had a look at he the one from Argos but wasn't too impressed.

Normally he travels in the camper van so it isn't a problem but wife is worried about him jumping over onto her nice leather seats.

There is a very useful-looking dog restraint (guard) in the Octavia accessories brochure. The part number for the Hatch version is 861 SKA 001.

Or alternatively get him one of those harness things and attach to the eyes on the boot floor.

I have the genuine Skoda accessory item in my Combi and it is excellent - it fits well and is very secure, so I would definitely recommend buying this type.

I have it in all the time, but it is very easy to reomve if necessary.

Can't remember how much I paid for it as bought it in Euro from a dealer in Kamen, Germany (was cheaper than in UK!).

For those that have one in an estate..... How does it mount? Can you still pull the curtain over with the guard in place?

These guys will supply an approved dog-guard for almost anything on wheels, they are quick, cheap and good (just like my vRS). They are suppliers to most OEMs so chances are that they make them for Skoda Aftermarket anyway:
