The car is to be exhibited at the Geneva motorshow and testing is scheduled to begin in about 8 weeks.

new Skoda rally car being developed for 2008. undergoing development this year. The S2000 series is a newish catagory that aims to produce a much more affrdable rally car.

Lots of manufacturers are developing them, in fact Toyota had theirs out in teh Rally GB last year with Alistair Mcrae at the wheel

As wardy says that's a really obvious photoshop, and IMHO looks like they crashed a roomster covered in glue into a halfords store backwards.

FWIW the general lines (lights, grille, windows) do agree with the shots I've seen of the new Fabia.

I agree the general shape is the same as the Mk2. It's the wheels at jaunty angles and the general lack of perspective I have a problem with.

looks like someone attempted to fit a roomster face to a new mini with an axe and kept missing. horrible looking thing of a car.

Not sure what the homologation rules are for S2000 so they could have something to do with the freedom of design for the S2000 fabia.

I'll go and try and find out now.
