Featured Replies

Hi guys, i saw a Y reg, 2001 Clio 1.2 16v sport today, am thinking about goin to ahve a look at buyin it (as you know my car was written off last week or so), now i looked on parkers and it says the insurnace group is 10?! and its 0-60 time is 11.7 secons, but i find that hard to believe, iv looked around and found the insurance group to be 3? and also the 0-60 to be in th reigion of 13second?

can anyone claify this at all? or find the actual group and 0-60 times?

cheers

dunno bout the 0-whatever times, but it is a quite good car, my little sister has got one and it's pretty nippy

IG 3 13 sec 0-60mph.

It is the previous clio your talking about eg 172-182-v6 mk2?

Nice little cars they are :)

I had a 1.2 16v dynamique for a while after i gave them my renaultsport back when it blew up  - its a absolute hoot on the twisties tho.... even with its modest 75bhp it was keeping a pair of tuned tdi furbys honest in deepest wales ;)

ah right, i was going to say it seemed really unreasonable :P ^^

I had a 2003 clio dynamique 1.2 16v clio and I second that they are good fun to drive. 75bhp does not sound alot but in a small, light, great handling car it's plenty.

IG is 3 and 0-60 is about 13 officially...but we know generally they can be a little off.

great car, shame I got rid of mine

The Dynamique/Billabong also have lovely comfy sports seats IIRC , got a lift home in one a few months ago , I actually really like them , and even late low milage ones can be had for under

I learnt to drive in an 02 plate one of those... as did my cousin and he's now bought one :)

I think he's paying about £700 to insure it.

yes the seats are something that I miss alot. they are very snug fitting and better than the seats in the Fabia due to this.

I've had 2 dynamiques 1.2 16v and the other half has one too. Great little cars. Seat are same as the 172/182 but without the leather.

Nice and cheap car to run.
