I'll start the bidding off with a speedometer reading of 160mph. This was on the German autobahn before anyone gets the rozzers involved!!!

Disclaimer: I do not condone reckless driving of any description or speeding on the public highways. I believe there is a time and a place to do this sort of high speed driving - Autobahns at 02:00hrs works fine for me!

The speedo the faster you go gets more inaccurate...apparently!

What road was this done on - I must visit it!!! What set up are you running on your car then to push it that far?

189MPH (on timing gear)- Modified CBR1100XX Superblackbird, Runway, RAF Gutersloh (Well, after it was handed to the army), speedo indicating 200mph, large log in trousers had more left but needed to brake (it was a comic releif "run what ya brung arranged by the Military Police, aka Monkeys ).

Car, not so quick as I am a much better rider than a driver, current mk2 octy vRS, 162mph indicated on the talex at an undisclosed location.

I want to crack 200mph on the bike so am thinking about buying one of the final edition Hayabusa's and chopping in the much loved triumph and xr hooligan tool.

165 in a modded 300ZX many years ago. Wouldn't dream of going anywhere near that fast on todays roads :eek:

Got 128 on GPS out of the Furby when I had it and done 122 (GPS) in the Roadie.

75mph, honest. I had to take the wing off for that.

About 125 indicated in my old Audi 90. I was cruising up the M1 not watching my speed - oops!

125 indicated in my old 1.3 Micra - downwill on the M62

and again about 125 indicated in the Skoda chasing an S2000 down the sliproad onto the M1-A1 link (I slowed down, then popped a boost pipe a minute later!)

Apparently 125 is as fast as I dare go!

The NSL is 100km/h here so I need to get myself to a track to beat it.
