ive had a lot of remaps before on different cars but i dont know with the vrs i want more power but still want a smooth car what do you all think yes or no??????????????

thanks:)

The vRS is just crying out for a remap

Do it, ive heard impossible performance are quite good, a few rave about them,

YES!!!

A big yes from me too. Mine is custom code by JBS and is top notch

Who are JBS matey? Been looking at remaps in the NW.

remap or no remap

remap :)

hth

Do it, you know it makes sense:rofl:

I went to Jabbasport,

But there are quite a few out there with good reputations.

.

What sort of power gains will a Re-map get you?

from 180 - 210 ish bhp...

a conservative estimate

Definitely do it. I have Custom Code - done by JBS (they're in Chesterfield) and it's still nice and smooth, but FAST!

But as mentioned above you'll get as many recommendations as there are tuning places.

defo do it!

It makes it the car it should be: fast spooling, responsive and with an almost flat torque curve. Pulls hard from 1500rpm and kicks in again at 4500rpm

Do it! Incredible value for money - especially for those of us who used to have the 150bhp version of the 1.8T. :D

I know I'll be getting mine done when the warranty's expired.

I still need to get mine done :S Hopefuly doing the vent mod first!!

YES ONLY if cost under 250pound.

I would not pay more than that for jobs +/-30min connect a labtop then tab a few key. It is just easy money.:(

Maybe so - but what about the development time, investment in equipment etc?

Maybe so - but what about the development time, investment in equipment etc?

I know. I've counted the above already.Look at a company call (chipped-uk), if it is all over the uk then the other will surely drop their prices.

I think it is all about DEMMAND&SUPPLY (COMPETITION).:o

You know i've already said the same things in the other org forums, and recive alot of furious replies, who i think they must be the one run those company.

At the end of the day everyone value thing or life at their own way...right..:)

what can i say its a yes then...

So comon, I just had a qoute from impossible performance, 390 pounds gets me 218-225 BHP, what can I expect because already my VRS altho fast is too damn smooth like today cruising on the m5 at 100 MPH and thought i was doing 70, so its acceleration im looking for, is it improved much? who can tell me about MPG and so on and any experiance,s with Impossible performance..

I was tyhinking of going to Jabba but Impossible Performance is just up the road from me and saves a journey. Again anyone used them and recomend them or should I stick to Jabba who are well known?

Do it. SERIOUS punch in the middle - feels more like an extra 100bhp.

Impossible Performance were good for me.
