Got em this morning :)

Erm odd question but wanna explain how to use it ;)

I assume you just squeeze the 'wing's and this pushes the product through the applicator etc. Do you have to leave it to dry or buff it off?

Spot on, cheers mate :)

Yes! I went for the ultra secure packaging technique and would advise careful unwrapping.

Got mine today, Jason.

Very, very well packaged, but no breakages!!!!

Thanks

Cheers Jason, Collected mine from the post office this morning.

Very Well wrapped, not a chance of breakage there.

I learned the way that they stack inversely like that helps. ;) Because if you apply pressure against the pads, and not the "sides" it actually forces the clips (gently) OUTWARDS, thereby reducing the risk of it being crushed side on and forcing the clips inwards and snapping open. :) The patented cardboard wrap around also really helps. :D (and keeps packaging costs down as I can simply butcher a cardboard box and then just use plenty of the brown tape. I think I have an addiction to my parcel tape gun. :o

Thanks Devonutopia received yesterday.

now hoping for a dry weekend to apply it

Yes - A dry, well polished screen works best - Glass cutter is very good at giving a good clean base for the aquapel to adhere to. Done right, first time, it will last much much longer. Oh, and the polishing in of the aquapel with a paper towel is pretty essential too - gives a good clean spread (hence why a bit of fresh paper towel is best)

OK - packets for wonderbadger and octoplus heading out tomorrow.

Have now rec'd payment from most of the GB, either by paypal or promise of chq/bank TR. Not heard from Mr Grumpy (must be in a mood for a change  ), the Fluffy one, Octo+, Ant or Buhir. :) I will resend PM's early next week if need be. Those that have paypal'd me so far will get theirs sent a.s.a.p. They're all wrapped up in my new patented aquapel packaging system :D (should be zero breakages this time around)

I paid you on the 2nd Jase' paypal transaction ID No.5EK074544N764591Y

Not been on much as I am working on a US Airforce Base and have no net access or phone access while onsite and the hotel want a fortune for t'tinternet :D

Yours was sent recently Fluff - in fact it should have arrived this morning. :)

Got mine t'other day, thanks Jason. Put it on same day as weather was nice. I used Megiuars glass cleaner first then the Aquapel. It's quite hard to get an even spread on the windscreen without it drying out. Spent ages polishing it in with the bog roll. Not perfect , but good enough. The repellant qualities are commendable!

I then put some on the side windows and today, I put some on the rear screen as I haven't got a windscreen wiper any more. Works a treat!

Just been to pick mine up from the sorting office, so I'll be "Aquapelling" this weekend. :)

Cheers Jason

Just applied mine about 10 minutes ago, thought I'd select the coolest part of the day to give me a chance to buff before it dried into a sticky mess  I did the passenger side first for some reason, and squeezed a little too hard at first so that side had more aquapel applied that the other half. No matter though, I managed to get a perfectly clear finish with much buffing using kitchen roll  After that, I tested with a cup of water on the untreated rear window first followed by the windscreen, the effect is remarkable!

Jason, thanks for the effort you went to, it really is appreciated. You can always tell a great forum by members taking time out to help other people out like you have on this group buy. (and there are lots of other eager helpers here, too (thanks vRS Stu  )

Thanks!

Dave.
