I have a Felicia 1.9 diesel hatch, 98 R, face lift model. I

i think i would probly take the tank off, and give it a dam good wash out.

NOT with soapy water though.

Perhaps drill a small hole in the bottom, tap it, flush with copious amounts of clean diesel and then screw in a bolt that fits.

I'm quite sure that all fuel tanks are plastic nowadays.
