Fuel Saving Debate Your Views

Featured Replies

The claims are too good to be true. If it were that easy, don't you think that the vehicle manufacturers would offer such a thing as an option?

The biggest factor that affects fuel consumption in any car is the driver. Try to think and plan ahead more and use the brakes less.

what a pile of cr@p , how can it save you fuel , a lighter right foot , good vehicle maintainence , correct tyre pressures , and as had been said above , thinking ahead and less braking will help with using less fuel , clamping something to the fuel pipes IMO cannot

save your money and spend it on some fuel

I've got a bridge in London I could do you a deal on.

Dave.

I've seen these trialled on some trucks fitted with cummins diesel engines.

The trials lasted for 12 months with each vehicle covering approx 150,000 Kms and the results verified using cummins ECHEK, road relay and Triscan fuel management systems.

And guess what.......they did'nt work

What did work best, was better driver training ;)
