Wohooo. I finally collected mines :D

My first thoughts are that its f'in amazing lol.

Maybe because there is a BIG difference from driving a 1.6 petrol, and going up to a 1.9 TDI.

It has so much power in lower revs which makes over taking, and getting up to the NSL very quick and no effort required at all.

I cant belive how lightly i have to use the gas pedal, although i will be keeping it below 3.5k revs for the first 1000 miles or so to run it in.

Only done 100 miles so far and its great. :D

I wonder what a remapped one would be like

Cant wait until it is run in, hopefully in a few weeks time i should be able to test its proper ability

they had it for 4 hours, couldnt find a fault, cleared the error in the software and has been fine since.... bit of a weird one (theres a thread on it somewhere below (3 days and its broken)

Nothing serious then.

Picked mine up yesterday...........had it into garage within 2 hours for same problem.....exhaust emissions light!!

They plugged it in and cleared it.

Just drove back from work and flippin light's on again !!:confused::confused::confused:

Anyone had problem like this??

i had mine for less than 2 hrs and i had the exhaust emissions light come on, took it back to the dealer and was told that it was the egr valve giving out wrong values and was reset, but the light reappeared in an hr. took it back again and was told that the egr valve box was not clicked in properly thus not making a vacuum.

yep..... and i rang them.... its currently being pdi'd and valeted ready for pickup saturday.....

did you get yours from there?

yup had mine on the first of march.

Hello all, I have read with some dismay about the problems you are having with the emissions light (is it going into limp home mode as well?) I'm convinced that this is a result of skoda struggling to make the PD130 engine Euro 4 emissions compliant (see custom remap thread or hesitition/stutter phenomenen sticky) It seems that too much exhaust gas is being put back into the engine and its causing problems. I'm picking up my vRS SE soon and I'm going to get it remapped before hand to turn off the EGR (close the valve permantly) which hopefully will mean no emissons light or stutter (I'll just have to put up with the 175 bhp by product...... Poor me!)

I read on here that its not recommended to remap a new car. It needs to run for at least 2000 miles first.

mines not remapped... but has just packed up again yesterday...only 7 days old..
