My Black Magic vRS with Cruise will be here in a few weeks time i dont think it has arrived to the UK yet.

There must be alot of people getting one but dont know if many are on here yet, as these have been selling like hot cakes apparantly with the 0% finance offer on.

I'm expecting a black un with cruise and heated seats in mid-march.

I decided I wanted a new vRS last weekend, ordered it on Tuesday, delivered to the garage today and I'm picking it up on Saturday

but...that sounds way easier than it was, lol

When I went to my local dealer on Monday he said he had no chance of getting me a new vRS apart from the limited edition but I'm not keen on the colour/pimped windows etc and wanted black or silver (I'm a boring old codger, lol). I tried a couple more dealers near to me and they were saying the same thing that they couldn't sell me a new one as they can't get them anymore and had sold all theirs.

I wasn't expecting that so started ringing more and more dealers and I was beginning to think I'd missed the boat when I finally found a garage that had one coming in this week so I've grabbed that.

So, if you're thinking about getting a new vRS (other than the limited edition) I'd recommend getting a move on, sounds like they are pretty rare things at the moment and will only get rarer as the final stock gets bought up.

Yep, Red with no options. I'm picking it up on Friday it will be a second car for me to put some miles on. I have wanted a vRS since 2003 so it was now or never to get a new one.

We had an order from a customer whose Fabia RS was stolen. The insurance got the order in 6 hours before they were no longer available in Ireland. Talk about good luck after bad! Maybe the UK will have a diesel but definitely not in Ireland due to Tax and the fact that less than 20 were sold in 4 years. We hate them more than the UK love them. I love them

Yeah probably. It will be about 5 or 6 weeks i recon witch is a real PITA. Im told mine is the last one to be built with xenons. Cant wait.

I washed our yellow Fabia RS for the customer. I left the back window slightly opened and destroyed the interior. You'll all love that

Slightly annoyed I wasn't told about the SE sooner cuz I'd love it in blue, esp wit the leather seats! But now it's been registered I can't swap unless I part-ex and pay 6weeks worth of depreciation... ah well! Stick with what I've got like.

mines at the dealers today... im having some bits n bobs done on it, and im away for a bit, so im picking it up march 10th.... been told my plate will be VU07 xxx

and its red - cos they go faster!

the black one with esp and leather is in the showroom as a demo car. saw it last week when i was having some warrenty work done on mine.

Anybody getting discounts off of the 12350 RRP for std new cars if you can get one, or are folks getting good discounts ?

What about the Ltd. Ed. VRS, are folks getting good deals or are you having to pay full whack i.e. 12990 ?

I've been offered 7500 for my 04 Black VRs with 40k on it, against the Ltd. Ed, this dosen't seem too bad, but what are others getting ? or should I expect to get more for it selling privately and going for a no trade-in discount ?

as I said on one of the (many) other threads about the Ltd Ed - I got no discount, even having no trade-in.

Dealer was even suggesting that they would go so far as to refuse trade-ins for the Ltd Ed, unless it's a car they know someone wants second-hand.

Was hoping I'd have been able to pick mine up today but paperwork from DVLA for Reg transfer hasn't come through yet. :( Garage reckon they can't get anything from the DVLA as to how long this will take. :confused: After a lengthy wait on the phone myself I managed to find that the paperwork was logged on their system Feb 23rd and it's scheduled "to be looked at" on March 6th, so it looks like I have no chance of picking it up until the end of next week at least.

Here in Portugal cars are 28% more expensive than average. I looked for the vRS in Spain and Germany. In Spain I almost got a black with ESP but they sold it at the last minute. As soon as there was one available I ordered another from Germany.

It's got 6000km (almost 4000miles), has been used only at the dealers and the plate is from March 2006. As soon as it completes 1 year old registration (for the 20% discount on Portuguese taxes) it will be transported over here.

It's a black beauty complete with: cruise control, heated seats (which I won't even need in my area, there's almost no cold weather), Xenon and ESP. I just needed the ESP, and prefered the grey version (looks cleaner) although it is nicer in black.

If I ordered a brand new vRS here it would cost me up to 3500€ more. This way I spent the same money a new Fabia 100bhp would cost.

I'm expecting it at the end of April.. Can't wait :(
