Gerry, show us your numberplate!

Featured Replies

I am led to believe you have a bit of a CZ tarted up plate from our main man in Czech, P2M. :D Can you take a pic of how it looks on the back, focussing on the extra bits on the left, please?

I was referring to the CZ badging, etc. Mine's all plain. I'll go access my hotmail now.

Thanks - I won't be posting it - Just for my own viewing to see if I want similar. :D

Aha! I already have a surround. I was after something to give the blue bit on the left like in this shot. :)

What's behind his front grill is much more impressive!

Yes, but I don't need the surround - I just need whatever that blue bit is on the left and somehow find a way of adhering it on to my numberplate so it looks like it was there all along. :)

Jason - have you seen Post #46 in this thread? Might be what you are looking for.

Get some proper plates J, come join us in the dubmeister group buy :D

I would but I'm already blacklisted to the local police round here for dodgy plates, and they only need one more excuse to force me back to my Y plate again, and I get the private plate taken away. I just want the banding and would be interested and willing to get one from Dubmeister as part of the GB, if I can. But I must attach it to my original, UK legal, no doubts, numberplate on the back (front cannot have it)

If your going to CZ plates, do it properly and get a white rear plate ;)

Ummm, NO! :D :P

But the CZ banding won't be legal to use anyway?!?

Well, perhaps. It will only be a sticker of sorts anyway, no? I doubt anyone would bother me considering I have a legal plate made by halfrauds with their address and number on it.

What is the difference between a CZ banded pressed plate from Dubmeister in UK legal font, and a CZ banded plastic plate from Halfords? You really think that if the police stop you again, they'll see the CZ banding and think "oh, it's ok, he bought it from Halfords"...

OK, I guess IF I can get in full UK legal font there are no issues. Actually it would be nice to have a smooth plate again, as mine's got twoi screw holes in it (no longer used thanks to the surround GB)

Now you're talking sense again :D

Dubmeister does UK legal fonts too, so get some proper plates instead of the hodgebodge stickers ;)

My name is added to the GB. :P

Just not sure how long I need to wait for that to kick off?

Think we need to give Dubmeister another call and see how close we need to get to get some discount... I'm in no hurry, as long as I've got some before next Christmas ;)
