Evo Review Fiat Panda 100HP

Featured Replies

Up close. They look quite smart. :)

I'd have one

I took one for a 15 min test drive last weekend and was really disappointed - although it's very well equipped (Climate, Bluetooth etc) and looks the business (Rear tints, alloys, diffuser etc), the ride was really choppy :thumbdwn: , the engine needed thrashing to get any real performance out of it :thumbdwn: , the driving position is rather high(Feels like you're sitting on the car rather then in it!) :thumbdwn: , and the quality of some of the plastics (Dash and door handles in particular) seems really poor  Admittedly it costs 'Only' 10 grand but it's not for me! Will be trying a Suzuki Swift Sport next weekend - available new from the some dealers for the same money.....

Harry Metcalfe from EVO bought one on his credit card so they must be good as he has a Zonda sat in his garage

I was reading an american mazda3 forum and some of the guys were going mental that this panda (and swift and fabia amongst other, even sportka?) beat the mazda 3MPS in the top gear hot hatch list.

But it looks good and seems to be a lot of fun. I like the way its got subtle features but its not screaming look at me, I'm a sports car! A bit like the furby vrs I suppose.

I really like the look of them in the photos.

Not seen one in the flesh yet , but I have perched in the regular ones and liked them.

If I was after a small fun car I'd consider one

Not all 1.4's are slow though. Look at Delcac's....

i really enjoyed the test i had in the Panda 100hp :D ,but thinking back now you are right about the ride, seating position and dashboard plastics , although it was deffo more fun than the Swift sport i test drove 2 weeks before , the dashboard plastics are similarly hard aswell , and i don't think you will get a new Swift sport for
