Speedo Not working

Featured Replies

I recently had the clutch changed and since that the speedo is not working!

I have checked that it has been reconected and it seems to be. I removed it and the cable was still there and didnt look to be broken.

What could be causing the speedo to stop functioning?

have you tryed starting the engine and driving down the road???????

tends to make my speedo move.

YEs!

Disconnect the cable at the gearbox and and see if you can spin the cable inside and get a reaction from the speedo.

i had the same problem on an old rover 200. wiggle it about a bit and force it down may do the trick if all is good from advice given above
