New Fabia. Where is the VRS and high performance?

Featured Replies

Yes theres an estate to follow , I cant remember when though , 6 months maybe , off the top of my head? I havent heard if there will or will not be a vRS version though. There won't be a Saloon this time , I dont think it sold too well in Mk1 guise (certainly not in the UK).

That would have been awesome! :D I'd fancy converting mine if the cost involved wasn't so high.

Will they be making a mk2 estate? Wouldn't mind seeing what one looks like...

If you find a pic with a Fabia II estate that have licence plate "DA X2207" you have found the new estate. Not good looking.

Estate vRS will be shown at Genev

A bit cake

Is there an estate that is ?

Yes and it

For some reason that pic was out on the net for some minutes so I grab it. I’ve got the whole pic but I don’t think Skoda would be so happy if I show it to all on the net so you just se a part of it. Members of a RS forum in Sweden can se it and that’s enough .

I have read that the new Fabia HB will have five or three doors so maybe the vRS will have three doors. PS of a three door on the pic

Go on show the rest of the pic  as it's already been in the public domain so what can they say.

Hm

There it is

Hey that looks pretty good! The only thing I don't like is the rear lights. There's something about them that's just not right, give me mk1 lights anyday. I wasn't planning on getting another fabia but a new vrs estate? I just might... :D

There is something that doesn't ring true about this picture. I don't believe how thin the C columns are at the top. It doesn't look strong enough. The lighting on the nearside bumper looks odd and the reflection on the boot lid around the badge is also odd. There is little continuity of the colouring from the rear door to the wing.

Nice try, though!

I understand you but I followed a tread (over 500 pages and 400.000 hits) for over a year and thats where the most interesting news about Skoda comes from. The pic was up for about 5 minutes and then removed. None asked for it so perhaps I was the only one to look at it. I had the pic confirmed by two dealers that it is the new estate. Same pic was send from Skoda cz to Skoda swe.

No Babs , this is the Yeti:

Er, I think this one is called the Prankster.

  • 5 months later...

My skoda dealer was saying about talk of a 200BHP deisel engine in the new fabia VRS........OOOOOOO YES!!!!

I've just been scrutinising the pics on the first page... I'm sure it says "Roomster" on the back!

The suspension seems to be pumped up too high at the back of the car too... the Mk1 rode quite low to the ground as fabia's go.

Maybe it's a kit like Lummox says??

One of the pics is of the back of a Roomster

Well NOW I know that... :P

I didn't read the whole thread! ;)

skoda-7-03-07.jpgIt is rumoured that eventually a 1.4 TSI running at 125 bhp (93 kW) will become the range topping petrol for the planned estate version and that the next generation vRS will also receive the 1.4 TSI to the tune of 170 bhp (127 kW)[13]. The release date for the New Fabia vRS has been cited as May 2008 by some Škoda UK dealers, although specs are unknown
