My download is currently at 87%, it's now been downloading for about 3 hours :eek:

The fact it uses the same engine as Generals certainly shows.

Still a blinding game and it's pretty intensive to run with everything turned up to maximum.

I downloaded the DEMO from EA's site and ordered the hard copy from Amazon in case you are wondering. It should arrive tomorrow

it looks like EA have supplied either a Loader file , or put a time lock on the install.exe file.

I downloaded the FREE demo from the EA site and paid for a full copy via amazon.co.uk, the Kane edition too

Even I'm not stupid enough to pay twice for a game :P

I had the demo off fileshack a couple of weeks ago

I've only had the demo a little while so i'm behind the times somewhat

It's a mix of Generals and RA2 so it has a familiar feel to it.

Just spoke to asda they said call in at midnight and they will fetch one from the stores if it ain't on the shelf

Played the demo for the first time last night. I'm undecided at the minute, but it was running on my old machine which is a little slow. I'll try it on the new one tonight and see if its any better

Yes she often ask's me to ask the age of my opponent online

average answer is about mid twenties which usually shut's her up for half an hour

my machine loves it infact i can't play generals as quick as the game want's to on full speed

i think the 7950gx2 helps in this instance and the 2048MB of ram

I'm running C&C3 with 2 gig and a GeForce go 7950GTX and it's more than happy with the settings maxed out.

Anything less and I think there would be problems.

I'm tempted to upgrade to 4 gig at some point but it's £425 from crucial.com
