First the parts for the sump guard were on back order, and now they've turned up the dealer says that they can't fit it :(

They didn't have a bear-nut insertion tool big enough and they couldn't work out how to fit it with the plastic under trays that fit to the sides of the engine that protect all of the belts.

Not good as i'm now driving around with no under tray of any type (metal or plastic) :eek:

I think Jon had one of these fitted, anyone else?

If i remember correctly you need kING Klik t100 tool for fitting the insert nuts,or they can be welded in place.The plastic trays to the side need to be trimmed slightly to fit along side the sump guard.I will try and dig out VW Driver as they fitted one(think it was Dec '06) and let you know.

I'm thinking about fitting 1 and may invest in the tool if i do.
