my octavia vrs and a truck became close friends yesterday :( the back end of its trailer got caught on my front wheel. lets jus say the front wheel is no more. anyway got it checked out today and i need to replace my steering rack, wishbone, hub and suspension leg. ive been told its possible certain parts of the mk4 golf range etc etc could be used but im not too sure how true this is. if anyone can help please let me know thanks.

The most reliable way is to check part numbers which on VAG cars are normally stamped on them somewhere.

The cars are certainly built on the same chassis platform so it will be possible for some parts.

I would have thought skoda sourced parts would have been cheaper anyway. I know the parts may be the same but the price you pay may not

Sadly that is not always the case I'm afraid.

Or failing that GSF might be a cheaper option that the stealers

Their is a Red octy VRS on ebay thats being broken up, its obviusly been written off due to frontal damage but in the list is the wheels and breaks and so on so im thinikng the other parts may be fine in that region also, maybe drop the guy an email.

one last thing. do any of ya know if the parts i listed were all the same on all the octavia vRS or are there any change over points for any?
