Whats faster?

146? I got 151 the other night on the speedo, what speed would that actually be in reality as the clock is a little out at top end?

Anything from 140 upwards i would guess.

By the way, you forgot to say it was on a private road ;) :nono: :cop:

171.2 GPS measured on mine, bouncing merrily on the limiter.

After 10 seconds of that the CEL comes on and you get a lovely code on the ECU which when decoded by a dealer says "Maximum engine revs exceeded - WARANTY VOID"

You have been warned speed freaks :D

Oh and mine was on a public road so :P

Admitedly it was a public road in Germany :D

Just keep it slightly under 170 then...

:D

Does this only happen in highest gear? Or can it set this code in any gear?

Nope, any gear Q. Try it :D

I'll clear the code for you.

Thats one stupid feature we can do without... It is not unknown for me to hit the limiter in 2nd if I'm doing some motorway joining or traffic light grand prix-ing.

Can even happen accidentally if you happen to misplace your gears...

The Auto Fabia automatically red-lines when the pedal is pressed to the stop, and as for accidentally selecting gears it's even smart enough not to change down until it will be below the red, clever, all controled by Fuzzy Logic, I have no idea what the hell that is, only that it reminds me of a unwraped sweet thats been left in someones pocket, i.e fuzzy!
