sh!t. what a waste. :(

I feel really sorry for him aswell.

It was a nice Fabia. :(

That must have been rough for him, poor guy. Good reminder to have a fire extinguisher as part of the kit in any car.

I don't suppose it had a diesel engine in it, right?

oh dear..... wonder what happened......?

i wonder what happened to that too??

Oh Dear

Another Fabia leaves this world :(

From what I read on the site, he'd over-wintered the car, and this was it's first long run out this year, since being serviced following the long period off the road. Best guess was a fuel pipe popped off, or something went under the bonnet.

I believe it was a 1.4 16v engine.

I wonder if the rear lights are for sale?

I was hoping they had been destroyed tbh ;)

He shouldn't have set fire to it, just so he can use his GAP insurance for the new improved Vrs Fabia next year. :D

Shocking!

Drove past a fairly new Hyundai Coupe the other week in a similar state of inferno on the M42 with no fire brigade yet in attendance! Wonder what causes these thing!

I believe it was a 1.4 16v engine.

Looks a bit smokey for a petrol though.....:P

Deserves to burn for those rear lights and bumper.

I believe it was a 1.4 16v engine.

:o Bugger :o

:orb_sad:

I'd guess at a petrol leak onto a hot manifold to get that sort of fire....

Wouldn't want to be taking pics bearing in mind the thing would have had a tank of fuel though :o

I do hope the awful lights and bumper were consumed by the inferno.

Look on the bright side, it could have been much worse

Did I miss something there ?
