Lummox's PoLow

Featured Replies

A few pics after giving the PoLow a much needed bath. My god it was filthy, not been washed in about two months. Just a quick 2 bucket wash and a little polish of unknown origin from a valeter friend.

Pussy, its not low enough :P

what type of cloth did you use when polishing??

looks well btw!

Used a Meguires applicator pad putting it on and a regular polishing cloth to remove. Why do you ask?

that looks very good:thumbup:

When I first built the pick up the diff used to sit on the floor when dropped all the way.

Looks very clean

Have you considered black vinyl on the pillars between the windows?

Looking good:thumbup:

Yes I have. I will probably do them after it has been repainted which is a long way off after the engine swap.

Very nice motor mate, i've always had a thing for the golf and polo variants.

It looks well on the wheels that are on there, but for some reason I cant help thinking it would look awesome with some black super Ts on it, or maybe just the wheels that are on it done black.....ok you guessed i'm a black wheel freak.:o:D

Love it :)

Very smart.

Slightly off topic..I am hunting your posts for pics of a stereo you had.Don't know if it was the one you had in the Fabia or the Fun or whether you kept it?

If you remember the one I am talking about I would be grateful for the details.....I want one!

That looks awesome! The Seat wheels really suit it. I want a Polo Estate!

Does look smart. You really do like them wheels dont you! Will these ones be staying silver? ;)

Only thing I can spot that could do with a mod - the aerial. Maybe a Honda stubby one would do the trick?

Looks very well regardless fella. :)

Oh, and maybe some spacers for the back wouldn't go a miss! ;)

Very smart.

Back off topic :P

I think that would be the Pioneer DEH-P77MP. I have the same in mine. Minimalist brushed aluminium job.

Cheers Xav, spot on.

Tom, wheels are not going to be staying and spacers will not be needed when the engine swap is done as I will be converting to five stud and swapping the rear beam.

Looking goood

looks good.... i liked the cordoba/polo estate and considered getting 1 only reason i didnt was i drove a caddy at work and didnt want a car with the same dash as the works van so ended up getting a renault megane instead.... but now i have the fabia :)

Latter cars have the late Polo dash with twin binicles.

yeah i know that but the one i looked at in 2003 was a 99 V reg with the old dash same as the one in the works 51 plate caddy (still drive it and is got over 144,000 miles on the clock and goes like stink despite being an SDI)

Ross, tres nice, nice to see such an individual looking mota. Credit to you mate:thumbup:

BTW do you still offer any advice (strictly by PM) as I need some from a man with knowledge on me Octy problems?:D
