My uncle has just got the vag com software and cable and was saying to me do i want to lend it for my Fabia vrs how hard is it to do the tuning with it or should i leave it to the professionals as thats what am thinking at the moment

any advice would be great

It's a piece of cake and is just a question of changing numbers. As long as you follow the guide on here, you can't go far wrong

You cannot tune as in remap a car via a VAG-COM cable.

What you can do is chage some settings to enable and disable functions such as one touch unlocking, anti hijack or alarm beeps for instance.
