Hi there, i used to have an Octy VRS which i killed spectacularly, have been driving a 2.8v6 4 motion passat for about 10 months since this happened. Now due to the budget increasing the RFL on gas guzzlers am wanting to move on to something a little cheaper to tax and fuel. I have found a 4*4 elegance estate and seeveral VRS estates for reasonable prices but cant make my mind up as to which to get. Are there any issues with a 52 plate 4*4 that i should be aware of, its at a skoda dealer and coming with a warranty from them.

no issues, the 4x4 as skoda intended it is no where near as focused as a vRS but lends itself to mods as you shouldn't get traction issues. the 4x4 system on the octavia is completely different to the one on the passat if you didn't know.
