Big thumbs up to RAC skoda assistance.

Had to call them out due to a nail in one of the rear tyres and the wheel refusing to budge. Anyway, within approx 45 mins of making the call the old wheel was off and the spare was on. Even the technician had a job getting the wheel to budge, took quite a bit of persuasion with his trusty lump of wood and a mallet!

Both the girl on the phone and the technicain were very helpful and friendly!

Top class service all in!

RAC are good, been a member since '76 although at the age of two I didn't really have the need to call them out that often

Still prooves to be an interesting double take when approached by the sales staff as I do look old for my years, but not 20 years older

Oh and the AA turning up once with a pot of oil to do a coil change when I specifically asked for a truck so car could be taken to garage as it was a 4x4 and the coils had failed....that had me laughing till I became 2 hours late...

I'm wondering if thats why skoda assistance has recently changed from AA to RAC?

Have the AA annouced they are reducing the number of patrols in the early hours of the morning? Not so good for single females stranded at 3 in the morning.

Used both - AA member for a few years, Firm lease vehicles use RAC,now AA - seldom seen either after dark - usually a contractor, and in a lot of cases involves a long wait.

I'd have to agree with you guys about the RAC. I had a slow puncture earlier this week (well technically I still have it) and although I managed to get home, when I called Skoda Assistance the following day the RAC guy arrived very quickly and the wheel was swapped over within a few minutes.

I'd have done it myself if I wasn't on my lunch break.
