My first one was green, similar to the brakes and my second was black magic.

It's a well known fact that colour coding everything makes your car faster.

Where is the best place to get a Strut brace and how are they fitted? I fancy one for my vrs when I get it.

Looking good, mines been left red for 2 reasons - a homage to my recently traded-in Ibiza, and I like the Seat sticker (nothing to do with the amount of paint it'll pull off :D).

Mine was red with a Seat Sport sticker in the middle :P

Nah. I had Stu's one.... So.. Yep, mine was green aswell LOL

IMO It looks fine in red. Cos I cant be bothered to get it sprayed. + I intend to sell it when I change the car.

Hi, Talking of strut braces, theres one on e-bay for sale in the midlands,if it helps.

I bought a Red car to go with the strut brace much cheaper than getting it colour coded:rofl:

It will be coming of and going on the new car but will still keep it red as it will match the calipers.

Don't make it look too good, otherwise you will need a glass bonnet to appreciate it.

I Took the Seat Sport sticker off mine resprayed it Hammerite Smooth Green and fitted a Skoda Motorsport decal......... In reality the green is a near perfect match to the brake calipers, and not as light as the photos suggest.

Looks like I will have to chrome plate mine then:D

I assume the paint is easy to get off, or is it powder coated and needs shot blasting?

To be honest i just sprayed over the existing red paint on mine...... I gave it 5 coats i think..... I know of people on uk-polos.net who have had them powder coated to match the colour of the car exactly

Cheers

Dave.
