Reckon the insurance will side with the van driver though I am afraid to say. :(

Its a write off alright, well thats what ive been told by the garage. I'm led to believe that if the repairs are gonna cost half the value of the vehicle... then its a right off. The whole chassis/ frame is knackered anyway the boot wouldnt even close properly.

Yeah Im fully prepared to take some of the blame. Knock for knock I think is the fairest outcome. Mind I do have to say... been driving for 15 years and never had an accident before and certainly wouldnt of overtaken him if i thought he was gonna be turning. But at the end of the day **** happens... Just my turn for it that day!

Its a dead end road to a cemetery.. very apt!

The other driver was obviously tootling along.. realised he may have taken a wrong turn... seen that road at the last minute and thought oh ill turn there without looking in his mirrors!

A junction doesn't need to be signed - the hazard warning lines in the centre of the road and the broken white line across it mark where the junction is
