Just driving past my loacl dealer and he had 3 new fabia's on show, so pop'ed him and he let me have a look round them. Have to say it sits a bit high and needs lowering but otherwise it looks a LOT better in the flesh. The cabin is simply superb, well laid out, not fussy and keeps the best features of the old car the seats are really comfy and supportive (fabia 2).The black fabia 3 looked awesome and was a 1.9tdi, but a lass he would not let me take it for a spin....

I cant wait till early 08....

That is my major concern around the new vRS & its price in relation to the L3 .

I have not really had the chance to check out the price difference between the vRS & the Elegance versions to give an idea if expected price difference.

If anyon has already done a vRS / Elegance price comparison, would be interesting to see.

Noticed in What Car that the VRs is due to come out here in mid 2008. That's a big gap isn't it?

Not really, very simillar if not shorter than the gap between the MK2 octy and the MK2 octy vRS, assuming of course that the date is accurate.

Too right, I would think the next vRs will be

Fabia mk1 started production in 1999 and it wasn't until 4 years later that a vRS appeared, so just over a year isn't too bad I don't think. :)

Hi sat in the Fabia and not sure to be honest. The car seems very tall and would really benefit from the option of a 3 door sporty model. Plastic's and metal bit's are quite nice and rear legroom is much improved. I love the front of the car and overall not a bad effort.
